OUTDOOR HOCKEY

Ku-ring-gai Hockey Centre

The Association currently has access to the Ku-ring-gai Hockey Centre (KHC) located in the grounds of the Ku-ring-gai High School (KHS), Bobbin Head Road, North Turramuura. 

NSBHA was awarded $2.72 milion grant funds in June 2022 from the NSW State Government under the Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund to fully replace the Hockey pitch at KHS.   This is excellent news for the school, hockey and the wider community.   

A contract has been awarded in July 2023 to Polytan Asia Pacific Pty Ltd for the complete replacement of the current 30 year old pitch.  Works will commence soon and are anticipated to complete by Christmas 2023.

Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen

The hockey community have secured access to 2 small synthetic facilities at the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen, together with use of a club house.  These venues allow for local hockey training and small-sided games.

Frank Gray Oval, Curl Curl

The Warringah Hockey Association's full field women's grass competition is played at Frank Gray Oval within the grounds of John Fisher Park, Curl Curl.

Forsyth Park, Neutral Bay

The popular Mosman Junior Hockey Club Boomerang Play & Learn hockey program is available in T2 & T3 at Forysth Park in Neutral Bay. Catering to pre-school and primary school age players, it is a friendly and accomodating environment for new players. 

INDOOR HOCKEY

The three main indoor venues within the NSBHA area are the Marie Bashir Mosman Sports Centre, 1 Cross Street, Mosman, Willoughby Leisure Centre, Willoughby and the Indoor Centre at the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen
