The popular NSB Junior Development program has been running for several years. It provides helpful exposure to new indoor players and

Coached by NSB rep coaches, the program focusses on several key areas:

• Indoor-specific skills such as the 'set', passing and receiving, etc.
• Indoor rules so the player has confidence to play in local competitions
• Structure and match-play

In the past this has been a very enjoyable experience for the players who have all made new friends from other clubs.

FAQs

Can U12s do U14 reps?

Participants in the u14 Reps program should be born in 2011 and 2012. NSB will consider nominations for players younger than these age groups based on their ability and readiness. This will be at the discretion of our Association. If you have a child younger than these age groups, who would like to trial, please send an email to reps@nsbhockey.com.au

What if I can't attend all sessions?
That's OK, but you must book and pay the full fee.

Do I need a uniform?
No! Come in your Club, NSB or casual kit.

Do I need special equipment?
You must have shin pads and a moputh guard. Indoor hockey uses a slightly different stick, which is thinner and easier to use. We normally can supply some spare sticks to those who do not have them. At worst case a field stick can be used.
