Hi Willoughby Girls / Marist players
The Mollie Dive Schoolgirls comp is on again this year. This will be our second year competing in the comp.
Thank you for being part of the Willoughby/Marist combined 11-aside team :) This will be a fantastic opportunity for the girls to play in a full-field 11-aside school girls competition, playing against other school teams (such as Stella Maris, Loreto Normanhurst, PLC, Roseville College and Brigidine).
The games are mid-week, either Monday or Wednesday nights, at Barker College and the hockey pitch at Ku-ring-gai High School.
Transport to and from the game will be arranged in a car-pooling system by the coach, parents or other helpers. The collection and drop-off point will be the carpark at Willoughby Park Bowling Club.
Laura, Travis and Diana (from the Middle Cove social comp) are very generously helping with coaching the team.
Uniform - a team t-shirt is being organised. Shorts/Skirt - navy blue school shorts. Long Socks - navy (like the WGHS navy socks).
Training - there won't be team training this year as most girls are already playing other hockey.
Would you please complete this registration ASAP and pay a contribution of $100/player towards the team entrance fee. This covers the cost of hiring the hockey pitches and umpires. For those players who are not registered for the annual HA / HNSW / NSB membership fee, there will be a small membership fee for the MD comp (to ensure players are fully covered under the NSB public liability insurance and for their own personal insurance). The link to this registration will be sent separately and is approximately $40.
The first game is Monday 12th May at 4.30pm at Ku-ring-gai. We will set up at WhatsApp group to manage the weekly comms.
